With the digital switchover looming, it is important to ensure that your property is prepared for receiving good quality digital signal. If your property has a satellite system as well/instead, your action for the switchover is not so urgent as you will have an alternative to watch once the analogue signal switches off.

If you DON'T have a satellite system and haven't yet connected a Freeview Set Top Box (STB) to your existing TV or replaced your TV with a 'digital' model, then you must do this before November 4th 2009.
Some properties can make the switch to digital without needing to adjust or replace their TV aerial, however this is not the case for many properties and you may find that once you have added digital to your TV system, your aerial may struggle to provide you with a reliable signal. There are several possible reasons for this but in general, if your aerial is more than 10 years old (not been designed for digital reception) OR if your aerial is more recent but the equipment used is not CAI benchmarked, there is a good chance that you will benefit from an aerial upgrade.
1a Aerials digital upgrades involved a complete replacement of your TV aerial - this includes new fixings/brackets and new cable routed neatly to your TV point. If your property has more than 1 TV, the cable will also need replacing to these rooms to enable the digital signal to be carried throughout your property.
Our FULL aerial to 1 room costs £160+VAT...please see our pricing guide for more information. |
